What verb forms should I learn?
Hello again verbatim,
No "eu" doesn't sound at all like "hey".
If you heard "euro" with the "u" sound, then "eu" is exactly the same.
Damn, I didn't.
Oh well, I should just ask at work.
Don't know if you can help me with this, but to proceed with my learning I am now translating short stories. That way I can rehearse and learn new words at the same time. If you have the time I'd appreciate you commenting my translations. I'll do a little part each day (or will try to anyway). Also I'm focusing on learning me how it's spoken so if you will help me think of it as I'm saying it. I know there are alot more verb forms and such when writing, but I need to learn and speak the language, not write:)
"A group of frogs were traveling through the woods, and two of them
fell into a deep pit. When the other frogs saw how deep the pit
was, they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead."
"Um grupo de sapos viajararm a floresta através, e dois de los cairam para dentro uma cova profunda. Quando os sapos outros viram quão profunda a cova foi, contaram os dois sapos estiveram como se fosse morto."
The translation is a good idea, I must say, but I'm afraid your translation is not very good...
Would you like me to send you how it should be, or will you try to do it better? In my opinion, you trying again will be much more beneficial.
Have a nice evening.
