Residencial Funchal is a 3 star pension type of accommodation that is very common in Portugal. Inexpensive and very economical accommodation it is sometimes very difficult to find a room available due to its pouplarity with students and other budget travellers.

It is situated in a very busy part of the centre of town. Right opposite the Fish Market and the Vegetable Market. It is also just off the "Liceu" - a very popular high school.
