Facilities:

Because of the excellent weather that the villa enjoys the most outstanding facility has to be the swimming pool and the quiet private areas around the pool in which to sun tan and just be plain lazy.

The Villa has three bedrooms available for rent - each with a double bed and could be considered "suites" with their abundance of space, and excellent furniture. Each room has its own bathroom and toilet facilities - albeit that only one of them are en suite. The other two bedrooms (junior rooms) reach their bathroom and toilet via a common corridor. The master bedroom has "his and hers" toilets and wash basins in its en suite bathroom. Note that your hosts, who also perform the duty of caretakers or you, are on hand to help you with any questions, needs and advice you may require on or about Madeira. They know quite a bit about the island and all its charms. The caretaker is very discreet and your privacy and quiet is of the utmost importance. A maid helps clean the villa three times a week during your stay and the gardener helps keep the garden in tip top condition.

The villa has a living room that combines with a reading or cards room. It has cable television and lots of sofa space. The villa has a separate swimming-pool-view dining room that communicates with the kitchen. The enormous kitchen in turn communicates with the laundry and pantry. There is another exit to the swimming pool from the fully equipped kitchen and an entry to the hallway which leads to the stairwell to the top floor.

There is a long balcony with an ocean view that runs in front of two bedrooms. As expected sun chairs and table are also available on the balcony. Right below the bedroom balcony on the first floor is the ground floor verandah that communicates with the garden, the front entrance and the swimming pool area. The villa has lots of garden space and its own vine lintel. A permanent gardener helps with all the "green" labour. The quinta has a traditional style and the walls are painted in traditional materials. The pavement and parking area is laid with basalt pebble in a traditional Madeira manor. There is also enough parking space for three cars.
